Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God which he obtained with his own blood. – Acts 20:28
God calls pastors to pay careful attention to themselves and their congregation that they may take care of the blood bought church of God. This all inclusive retreat (housing, meals, speakers, break out sessions) will be a time for pastors to pause and examine themselves and their ministry so that they may be better rested and equipped to care for God’s people. The purpose of this weekend is to encourage and equip men who lead in the local church through the role of pastor and/or elder. The conference will be a time for these men to regroup and recuperate. This will be a helpful time for pastors and elders as well as the churches in which they serve to continue the work of God after a very challenging year.
