Our Mission

At Ridgeview Bible Church, discipleship is everything. We strongly believe that everyone should be a disciple (an intentional follower of Jesus Christ) and that all of us should be engaged in making disciples. This strong ethos of discipleship shapes all that we do, from the way we conduct a worship gathering to the way we reach out to the ends of the earth. In November, 2014, our Elder Team framed it like this:

Ridgeview Bible Church is a fellowship of believers that is committed to intentionally and authentically following Jesus’ command to be disciples and to make disciples – in our homes, in the community, in the workplace and around the world.

That statement reflects the command by Jesus himself in Matthew 28:19-20, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Thus, in everything we do, we make it our aim to be authentic followers of Jesus Christ and to be intentional about discipling others to follow Christ. That vision shapes how we preach, teach, serve, do children’s programs, college ministry, evangelism & outreach ministries and even the way we support foreign missionaries. Being and making disciples is the central aim of everything that we do. In fact, that is who we are.

If that resonates with you, we invite you to join us and follow Jesus!
