“Reaching out in Grace” means that we are striving to be the hands and feet of Jesus to the people around us who are hurting, helping them to experience the life-changing reality of Christ in practical ways.

In biblical terms, we are committed to living out the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:18-20 and the Great Commandment in Matthew 22:36-40 in our contemporary context.

“Building up in Truth” means that we speak the truth in love to one another as we employ multiple means (e.g. small group Bible studies, accountability groups, one-on-one mentoring, etc.) to develop healthy followers of Christ who share a kingdom vision of reproducing other followers of Christ. ” The Holy Spirit empowers us as we study and live out God’s word (The Bible) together.

“Committed to Christ and one another” means that we are a local community of believers who are committed to Jesus and His mission as well as to one another.  This means that we bear with one another in love, giving grace to one another, but also are not afraid to confront one another in a lovingly way per the Holy Spirit’s leading.
